Q: What is Mer Con"? 

A. Mer Con is a 3 day inclusive community event that celebrates the Merfolk, Mer folk and ocean appreciation communities.  Friday May 31st is the Florida Mer Con Convention focused on those in and emerging in the Mermaid Industry , followed by a 2 day Mermaid festival June 1st & 2nd.

Q: Where is Mer Con located? 

A. Friday May 31st is the Florida Mer Con Convention will be held at The Weeki Wachee Area Club  7442 Shoal Line Blvd, Weeki Wachee, FL 34607 . June 1st & 2nd the Florida Mer Con Festival will be held at Linda Pedersen Park  6400 Shoal Line Blvd, Weeki Wachee, FL 34607 .

Q: Is this event child friendly?

A. Yes, both the convention and festival  will be "G" rated and appropriate for people of all ages.

Q: What is there to do at this event? 

A: The Convention provides an opportunity for like minded Mer Folk to network and learn from Industry leaders in many different realms of the Mermaid Industry. 

At the Festival there will be arts and crafts, meet and greets with all different types of Mer people, food and retail opportunities.
