2024 Mer Con Schedule of Events

This is the first day of the Mer Con Festival that will be open to the public. Join us for a MER-mazing time! Held at Linda Pedersen Park.

Our  event will feature:

• A children's book reading of Sirene and The Secret of The Sea  by the author, Joseline J. Hardrick, at 10 am on Saturday. 
• Live Mermaids for public meet and greets all day. 
• Many Food and Art/Craft Vendors 
• Face Painting
• Photo Booth
• Hernando County Fire Rescue -Fire Engine and boat "Marine One". 
• Silent Auction
• 50/50 Raffle
• Children's Coloring Contest
